About The Photographer

Jon Cossentine AKA Victory Jon was raised in Agoura Hills, California and attended Agoura High in the late 70’s. He bought his first street motorcycle at the age of 15His passion for riding has taken him on a great many adventures. He has been elected the Chapter Director of several organized motorcycle clubs as well as having other titles within those organizations including Chapter Photographer and Newsletter Editor. To date he has owned over a dozen motorcycles and has traveled over 1,000,000 miles on motorcycles alone. Jon loves these canyon roads and has made it his home away from home and now, it’s become his office as well.  As Jon often says and we’re sure you’ll agree, “What a view!”

His passion for photography started out with aviation and he has been shooting high speed military aircraft for over 18 years. Jon is also a private pilot and loves to fly as often as he can. His love for flying has also made him an excellent drone pilot. His photography took on a different look when he started working in product development and advertising. Although he was very successful, it was not quite his first passion.

When the economy took a turn for the worse, the company he worked for was hit hard. Around the same time, he found out he was going to be a single father as Little John was now on the way.  The company he worked for pulled up stakes and moved their operations to Tennessee. Jon’s entire department was laid off but little John was not going let that stop his arrival. Little John is the very best of everything Jon loves and being a photographer has made it possible for him to be with his son every day.

The “Photographers Prayer” is Jon’s philosophy.

“A PHOTOGRAPHERS PRAYER”

This is not my job, it is a way of life.

You see a sunset, I see perfect golden light on your skin.

A photo takes a fraction of a second to capture, but took years of study, experience, and hard work to create.

For every hour I spend with you, I spend five more in the studio to make your images shine.

If you are not happy, I am not happy.  I want you to love your images.  They are my art.

I will do everything in my power to bring you the most amazing experience you’ve ever had with a photographer.

It is my sincerest hope that you love the images I create for you as much as I loved creating them for you.
